Brief: Urban Chowk is a 1st of its kind open food court in Ahmedabad, with more than 20 brands serving delicious delicacies. It is located at one of most promising location on S.G. Road with clean & hygienic landscape, concrete flooring, and beautiful ambience, excellent and huge sitting space.
Requirement: Client had an identity design that didn’t resemble the elements of this project.
Concept: Food is not just necessary but also an inherently a part of the Amdavadi culture.
Being listed as the first heritage city in India by the UNESCO, food is believed to be a reflection of our heritage, life, festivity and vibrancy that we amdavadis strive upon. With being a foodie that we are, there is food for every festival, there are n numbers of food adda for midnight rendezvous, everyone has their own favourite food destination. We at Zero Gravity, wanted to create an identity of a new food brand that integrates Ahmedabad’s culture as seamlessly as possible.
Bright colours, heritage monuments and an urban feel were the central thoughts behind creating the logo. There is special attention given to the application of the logo at physical premise to attract attention and is easily recognisable. ‘the idea people’ at Zero Gravity, designed the ‘Urban Chowk’ brand identity with bolder outlook to give a statement that not only we carry cultural values but also add our own flavours with a twist of modernisation.
