Equals Two is a premium Mothercare and Babycare skincare brand, with innovative product formulations that combine natural ingredients with advanced technologies. The Babycare range features enzymatically activated oils, while the Mothercare line incorporates advanced stem cell technology. Its commitment to 100% naturally sourced, clinically tested ingredients truly sets the brand apart. However, despite these strengths, Equals Two was only promoted in doctor clinics and chambers. That’s when they approached us, to take the brand digital and reach a much wider audience.
Our first step was to think about positioning the brand in a way that would resonate with today’s digitally savvy parents. We decided to encapsulate the unique blend of nature and science in the tagline, “Nature, Activated by Science.” This positioning highlights the best of both worlds—pure, natural ingredients, enhanced by cutting-edge scientific innovations. It was designed to speak to parents who care deeply about the quality of what they put on their children’s skin, while also appreciating the benefits of science.
With this clear positioning, we moved forward to develop a user-friendly, informative website that not only educated parents about the science behind Equals Two but also made it easier for them to purchase the products. We also set up the brand’s marketplace presence, ensuring that customers had seamless access to their entire range online.
Next, we turned our focus to re-launching the brand on social media. For this we did a lifestyle and product shoot with Indian models to create a sense of relatibilty with the young parents. Equals Two had limited online engagement, so we saw this as an opportunity to build a community. We crafted a content strategy that focused on storytelling—through a mix of organic content, influencer collaborations, and paid campaigns, we spread the message of ‘Nature, Activated by Science,’ creating buzz and sparking conversations.
The results were phenomenal. The digital presence took off, leading to increased brand visibility and stronger engagement across social media platforms. Parents connected with the message and began seeing Equals Two as not just a product but a trusted partner in their parenting journey.
